    They said it was yultide

One of my former students asked me why I don't celebrate "christmas" like the way common people used to. I told him it's ideological, intellectual and most of all theological. I really don't want to push further into this issue since I believe chris has a more sensible elucidation as to why we have a common view about this season which the people calls yultide.

    Who's afraid of Abat?

    Ask Raul Gonzales.

Anothery blurry assertion from Arroyo and company came earlier this day when the CIDG charged Gen. Abat with inciting to sedition upon the DOJ after beguilingly pretending to invite the retired general for tactical investigation in what seems to be another wicked and fraudaulent warrantless arrest by the Arroyo administration.

I wonder how confused the government is - yesterday, Gonzales the moron tried to laugh at Abat's actions at San Juan, today he had stated a new version of the story that the thing was a serious one and the same should be apprehended. Oh my, Gonzales.. where is your brain? Have you got no other thing to do than to provide a legal harrasment to anyone who criticize your boss? There goes our taxes we paid for his salary!

Another disturbing thing: I cannot see how the CIDG or the DOJ, if it would file a case in court, would contend that Abat commits the crime of inciting to sedition when there is no clear and present danger being posed by such actions claimed to be seditious by the DOJ. It is clear however that the case will be used to rationalize the unwarranted and peculiar arrest of Abat.

    At least the whole in
cident showed how gentlemen the former general is when he avoided a rough confrontation and yielded no to resist the policemen who "invited" him.

    On my own belief, our
country is in a state of a silent unrest. I don't really know whether there will be another ousting of the president for in the first place, we do not have a legitimate president but rather a usurper. I'm certain about one thing though, majority of our fellowmen is still deprived of the truth and still deprived of a legal and decent president to rule our land.

    Garci oh Garci

He's back. So what? Why only now Garci?? Have you already perfected the lines of your script? I don't think so. Your opening lines : " I didn't leave the country" doesn't make sense, it didn't appeal to the ears as well. What now dear Garci? Are you for real or thrill?
