    the joy of teaching...

looking at my students, i can see a reflection of the days way back during those trying but happy school years. teaching, i believe, is one of the most challeging professions at the same time also one, if not the most underrated. i have a brief talk with some of my co-teachers at school, for them teaching is a profession which requires passion, devotion and commitment. just consider the bulk of time you have to devote studying lessons and devicing lesson plans. compared to other professions, the teacher still work after his supposedly working hours at school.

but the compensation that a teacher receives, does not only come from his salary. teaching in its original sense brings joy to him. well for me, personally, even though there are times when your temper is being pushed to the limit, i stil think its worth it all. well i mean theres this strange feeling when you look at your students and suddenly identify yourself among them. its like seeing yourself or the acts that you've actually done, the silliness you have committed..well i think it only reminds me that what i am dealing at are human beings and not papers or office equipments.
